ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES: ATV/UTV/ARGO SAFETY TRAINING
BC Forest Safety Council Resource Road Driver Training
Small ATVs and UTVs are used in many remote job sites. Often, operator education involves little more than handing someone the keys. Training in off-road driving, loading, manoeuvring, and basic safety procedures can minimise injuries, as well as reduce damage to the equipment. Our clinics include basic maintenance procedures and a vehicle dynamics classroom session.
The curriculum for our ATV/UTV training has been developed by WFCA, the Western Forestry Contractors' Association, along with chief instructor Alan Sidorov and other senior trainers. It is recognised by the BC Forest Safety Council as well as Worksafe BC. Our coaches have completed the WSCA instructor training program for this course, and have many years experience operating these machines in difficult conditions. We require a minimum of three participants per session, and can accomodate larger groups.
If you are looking for ATV/UTV safety training, but do not need a WSCA certificate, our normal rates apply. See Services for more information.
Alan Sidorov is Chief Instructor for the BC Forest Safety Council Resource Road Light Truck Driver Training. The curriculum has been developed by the WFCA and Alan Sidorov, Director of Sidorov Precision Driver Training. Call or e-mail for details.
